As part of their Townhouse 2022 event, Bremont has launched this Supermarine WR22 Williams watch in celebration of their partnership with the Williams Formula One motor racing team. It marks the first official timepiece since Bremont become the Official Timing and Watch Partner for the team and beautifully embodies the shared knowledge, passion and expertise both brands have for precision and quality manufacture. The dial of the Bremont Supermarine WR22 Williams watch brings to life the livery of the drivers with a crisp white metal backdrop detailed with a bold red chronograph seconds hand, black snailed counters and electric blue accents on the small seconds and 12 hour counter. Through the case back, the partnership continues to be honoured with the chronometer-rated movement fitted with a custom-decorated rotor inscribed with the Williams Racing logo.
The movement housed within the Bremont WR-22 Williams watch is the Calibre BE-53AE, an automatic winding movement delivering chronograph complication, a date window, a power reserve of 42 hours and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The calibre also features a Glucydur balance wheel, an Anachron balance spring, and a Nivaflex mainspring for the best in reliability and precision. Protecting the movement is a 43mm stainless steel case which has been engineered using Bremont’s famous Trip-Tick case construction. On top, the Bremont Supermarine WR22 watch presents a bi-directional rotating bezel with a ceramic insert adorned with a tachymeter scale perfectly suited to the racetrack. The downward lugs allow the imposing diameter and the 15.8mm height to sit gracefully on the wrist helped by a black nubuck leather strap. Completing the Bremont Williams watch is a 200 metre water resistant rating.
